Nawaplastic Industries has announced the purchase of more than 120,000 shares of BMP during the period from 29 June to 2 July 2018. Thus, Nawaplastic Industries has increased its holdings from over 44.09 million shares, representing 53.86% in BMP to over 44.21 million shares, representing 54.007%. It is known that The Nawaplastic Industries is a member of SCG - the Thai group.
The Nawaplastic has won the bid to buy over 24.13 million BMP shares owned by SCIC. Prior to joining the competition, Nawaplastic Industries was a major shareholder holding more than 16.7 million shares of BMP, equivalent to 20.4% of total voting shares of Binh Minh Plastics.
Immediately after winning the BMP shares sold by SCIC, The Nawaplastic continuously raised its stake in Binh Minh Plastic. If it could not buy the desired stock amount because the market price did not match the target price, immediately after the end of each registered buying period, The Nawaplastic continue to register to buy in the next period.
